I’m giving myself the busiest 24 hours of my life to highlight how easily small charities can get overlooked in our busy day-to-day lives - until we need them. If you’re a parent and you’ve just found out that your child has an incurable illness, it doesn’t matter if you’re a lawyer, a TV presenter, a window cleaner or whatever, you need help - and fast.
This challenge is all in aid of an incredible charity called Global’s Make Some Noise. When I’m not on the Good Morning Britain sofa, you’ll find me presenting mid-mornings on Smooth, which is part of Global. Our charity is called Make Some Noise because it’s all about raising money for amazing, small charities, that often struggle to get heard. And each one supports children and young people living with illness, disability, or lack of opportunity.
The small charities supported by Global’s Make Some Noise give that vital help to thousands of people every day, often doing it in their own time, on top of their actual jobs.
Please do dig deep and support this cause if you can. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
